Ice Cube Tapped To Be Scrooge In Christmas Movie ‘Humbug’

Who would have thought 25 years ago that that crazy motherf*%#er named Ice Cube would be starring in family-friendly Christmas movies one day? Deadline reports that the legendary rapper has teamed up once again with his Ride Along director, Tim Story, and will star as Ebenezer Scrooge in a modern remake of the classic holiday film, A Christmas Carol. Will O’Shea Jackson Jr. play Tiny Tim? Ha! (All jokes aside though – I’d so be there for that. Hey, O’Bae!) Cube will also produce the movie alongside Jeff Kwatinetz for his Cube Vision imprint. We can expect Humbug in theaters during the holiday season of 2017.

(Video) Ice Cube Shuts Down Concert After Crowd Starts Fighting

Ice Cube was not in the mood for the BS last night during his concert in Long Beach, California. The N.W.A. rapper was four or five songs deep into his set when fans right in front of the stage started fist fighting. Security flocked to the area and broke up the fights but Cube was pissed. He shut down the show saying, “Bullsh*t” and walked off the stage. Check out the footage below.

(Video) Throwback: Eazy-E Checks DJ Yella During A Live Interview!

With all of the attention that the legendary West Coast rap group NWA has been getting as of lately due to the Straight Outta Compton biopic, even people who are not diehard fans of the group are sparking an interest to know more. I came across a super dope throwback video of the NWA boys getting interviewed by Fab 5 Freddy from Yo! MTV Raps. When he asked the group who came up with the name for the album, DJ Yella said it was all him right before he was interrupted by Eazy-E – who then proceeded to curse at Yella and make it known he was the brains behind the title. All you hear is Freddy say, “That’s kind of raw” because it got so awkward that he had no idea what else to say. LMAO, CLASSIC! This should have definitely been in the movie. Check out the throwback clip below.
