The worst players in the NFL – do you agree?

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Recently, Jeff Pearlman put together a list of the 100 worst players in NFL history for Deadspin.com. We found the list intriguing and certainly more interesting than at least one of those “legendary 100” did, but also thought that the idea needed a more modern touch.

Preview all of today’s NFL games

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl GREEN BAY AT MINNESOTA, 1 P.M. ET WHAT TO WATCH FOR: In the first game between these two, the Packers gave up 196 yards rushing against the Vikings, which was the highest total (by 40 yards) since Dom Capers became the team’s defensive coordinator. Adrian Peterson had 131 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries and Green Bay can expect more of the same today. The Vikings’ wild card is how effective WR Sidney Rice (hip surgery) will be in his first action of the season. Rice was Brett Favre’s go-to receiver last season, and he is anxious to play. How long Rice lasts could go a long way toward deciding the outcome of this game. The rest of the games after the jump…

Fake NFL uniforms trick football fans; “Leaked” NFL uniform concepts are actually fan art!

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Earlier this week, a post on the Baltimore Sun’s Ravens message board had a post with links to images that purported to be Nike Pro Combat uniform designs for the 2012 NFL season. That’s when Nike will replace Reebok as the league’s uniform supplier, and Nike’s Charlie Denson said in October of this yearthat the company “(plans) on changing the NFL jersey dramatically just like we’ve done with the college programs, using new thinking and the greatest technology available. The NFL program hasn’t had the same type of advancement in recent years.”
