Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Miami finally had its Big 3 of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh reunited, and Oklahoma City’s top trio was at its best, too.  Yet none of those stars came away with the biggest shot of the game. Eddie House hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 22.2 seconds left, then added two free throws to seal the Miami Heat’s 108-103 victory in a Sunday showcase in which their All-Star triumvirate played together for the first time in nearly three weeks.’


NBA: Lakers win over Nets; winning streak up to 7

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher presented the gargantuan championship ring to Jordan Farmar, and the hometown kid basked in warm applause from his former fans at Staples Center. Then it was back to Farmar’s new career with the lowly New Jersey Nets.


NBA: Dwayne Wade scored season high 45 points in win vs. Rockets

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Dwyane Wade left Houston with a bloody lip and a new season high in points. Wade scored 45 points and the Miami Heat extended their road winning streak to 10 games with a 125-119 win over the Rockets on Wednesday.


NFL: Saints (11-4) clinch playoff berth for 2nd straight year with 17-14 win over Falcons

Michael Jordan’s son Marcus is following in his footsteps at Central Florida

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl He sits in a suite high above the basketball court, protected from potential autograph-seekers and media members and college students with cell-phone cameras.  Just in case any of them were to, you know, show interest. For the most part, though, NBA legend Michael Jordan can slip in to watch a basketball game at the University of Central Florida these days without much fanfare. A few folks may gawk and point prior to tipoff, but usually they’re fixated on the same player His Airness is there to watch.
