His only problem, as it turned out, was that he didn’t have eyes in the back of his head. Carmelo Anthony scored 24 points and blocked an attempted layup by Love from behind in the late going, helping the Denver Nuggets withstand Love’s career-high, 43-point performance for a 115-113 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night.

Dwyane Wade had 25 points and a career-high 14 rebounds back in the city where his career took off and the Heat beat the Bucks 88-78 on Monday night for their fifth straight win.
