Kicks: OK FILA I See You! Fila Is Bringing Back Classic Joints For WHEN?
After an almost 20 year Career in the NBA, Grant Hill announced his retirement early his month. Apparently Fila saw this as the perfect opportunity to reintroduce Hill’s signature shoe, the Grant Hill 1’a aka the Fila 95’s. It’s hard to tell the OG 95′ and the 13′ version apart, Fila kept an almost identical design flow. The leather kick sports suede on the lacing and the FILA logo stitched on the side of the midsole and on the tongue. The shoe comes in a white/navy combo and all back. They are set to drop sometime in September so be on the lookout. I don’t know about you, but these retros are a must cop in my book. My fellow sneakerheads agree? 40ozNYC has linked up with Def Jam records to produce a limited edition D.O.S. snapback for the record label’s #DEFinitionOfSummer campaign. Only 150 of the caps were produced, and they’ll be given to influential tastemakers in the music industry. More photos of the collab in the gallery.
Female Kicks: Nike Womens Air Max 1 SP-Obsidian-Tropical Teal-Volt
The Nike sportswear classic runner gives the ladies the best treatment always. Here’s a new Nike WMNS Air Max 1 with a similar herringbone pattern to the Cargo Khaki, black and Sequoia edition with a CMYK palette across the interlocking chevrons. The black parts of the shoe are actually obsidian, a navy blue dark enough to appear black from a distance that fits in quite perfectly. These are currently available. Kicks: Check Out The Nike Air Max 1 “Blue Suede”
Nike has planned to release a “Blue Suede” version of the “Purple Suede”. The kicks are composed of a full suede upper using three hues of blue and a white midsole complete with the visible Air Max bubble.
