Everyone will have an opinion! After Snoop Dogg Lion (still can’t get use to it) made his comments about NOT supporting a gay rapper, people began to talk. The Hot 97 morning show is saying, we don’t know what goes on behind these rappers’ closed doors. You may be supporting a gay rapper and don’t even know it. My truth is, I would support a gay rapper – based on their content. When people think of “rap” or “rapper,” it’s usually referenced to the stereotypical: street violence, hardcore, baggy pants, big t-shirts, strippers, gold teeth/chains, and MALE! Let’s not forget that their are gospel rappers, there are rappers who don’t rap about drugs and shooting all the time and female rappers, Da Brat, Queen Latifah, and MC Lyte was said to be gay but, you’ll support them…Come on folks, let’s not be so closed-minded. Just like ANY artist that you don’t like your going to talk crap and move on to the next song. No difference, it’s just their personal life-style that you choose to not like. That’s just #ME.
