The latest news coming from the NFL involves a Mexican repoter named Inez Sainz.  She was allegedly harassed while trying to report on a Jets practice.
One of the Jets coaches apparently threw footballs near where she was standing, while she was attempting to conduct an interview with the quarterback.  Jets players also called out to the reporter in the locker room, while she waited with two co-workers to do an interview.
She’s no stranger to interviewing professional sports players.  This would mark the first time accusations of this nature have occurred.
Sainz was mortified enough to tweet out that she was “dying of embarrassment”.
The NFL responded with the standard response you’d expect from a corporation.  They are looking into the matter and if necessary they will conduct “awareness sessions†with the players and coaches, similar to sexual harassment meetings at the office.
