Former Booker T. Washington, Oklahoma State and National Football League star R. W. McQuarters is recovering after being shot as he left a friend’s home late Friday night.
McQuarters was struck once in the back as he began to drive away from the home in north Tulsa. The suspect was described only as a man wearing a ski mask.
Officials tell NewsChannel 8 McQuarters drove himself to the hospital. His condition is not known.
