When he was winning and the pictures of Tiger Woods married with children were all over the media, he was feeling the love. Once the infidelity scandal surfaced — and his wife did not stand by his side — Woods began losing stature and sponsors. Accenture was the first and most overt in linking his infidelity to their decision.  Now it appears that TAG  Heuer — whose pricy watches are often a gift to those graduating from law school – has let the contact slip. Nonetheless as we saw in April,Tiger Woods is still the Number 1 darling in Asia. Nike has stood by his side and even said “Woods had been vindicated.”

With Tag Heuer, this makes six on the list of marketing partners gone by the wayside: Gillette; Gatorade; Accenture; AT&T; and Golf Digest.
