Seems there may be some hurt feelings after the blockbuster trade a couple weeks ago that sent James Harden from Oklahoma City to the Houston Rockets. According to Harden, the Thunder only allowed him one hour to consider their final contract proposal. You would figure after his time with the thunder and the success they enjoyed together they would have been more patient. However, as usual in sports, business is business.

“After everything we established – everything we had done – you give me an hour?” Harden told Yahoo! Sports on Monday afternoon. “This was one of the biggest decisions of my life. I wanted to go home and pray about it. It hurt me. It hurt.”

However, Harden did also acknowledge what the Thunder did for him personally.

“I think they valued my talent there,” Harden said. “They built me there: my work ethic, my body. They changed my life. I think they know how good I can be.”

Regardless, Harden seems destined to be happy in Houston because he now gets the chance to be the focal point and show the all star talent he has, which early in this season looks like a great thing for the Rockets.
