It’s coming in two weeks, it’s FREE (that’s always a nice word) and it’s from Trinidad James. The pretty much one-hit-wonder announces the follow-up to his 2012 Don’t Be S.A.F.E. [Sensitive As F**k Everyday], which is No One is SaFe.

Okay, so maybe Trinidad James was a two-hit-wonder (or not, your decision), but his former record label didn’t feel he had the chops to make it big, hence the ‘former’. Looks like the Georgia rapper hasn’t given up just yet.

No One is SaFe is scheduled to drop on January 20th, and James has called on some well-known names like Big K.R.I.T., iLoveMakonnen, OG Maco, Offset, Problem, Scotty ATL, Peewee Longway and Lil Debby to guest star on the full-length project.

James’ first single from the project is the Diplo-produced track “BlackMan Pt. 2“. “I’m a huge fan of Diplo’s production and spirit as an artist,” he tells The FADAR. “I heard the beat on SoundCloud and it inspired me to get focused on what type of message I really wanted to relay this year with my music and as an artist—and also as a man in this world, which is the most important part of being in this game.” Can’t wait to see what this project brings to the hip hop table.
