The beautiful Zoë Kravitz cover’s Complex magazine’s digital April/May issue. Slightly covered in black leather – giving us a modern day Cat Woman – the daughter of famed acts Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, talks about everything from being “normal” to her friendship with ex, Drake, recalling childhood experiences and having image and self-esteem issues as a teen (Why, I have no idea. The girl is GORGEOUS!).

“My first cover story (!!!),” Zoë tweeted out. In the cover’s slits, the child of famous parents opens up about trying to be a normal teen, and Lenny riding up to Zoë and friends in a car most would only dream of, didn’t make that normalcy easy. “[My dad] would come pick me up from school sometimes when he was in town in a sports car and a netted shirt, and I’d be like, ‘Ugh.'” She admitted that this was around the time “Fly Away” was released. “Normal” didn’t end there as Zoë recalls at the age of 15, waking up to Ashton Kutcher cooking omelets in her kitchen. The fun didn’t stop there, but there were the in-betweens of dealing with life as a teenager. The now 26-year-old discusses the “awful diseases” she endured growing up.

“I had a really hard time when I was 16, 17, 18. I started with the eating disorder … Just [a hard time] loving myself,” she admits. Zoë blamed it on the fame, but quickly retracted. “I don’t think it was about the fame, but I think it was definitely about being around that world, seeing that world. I felt pressured.”

It’s nice to now that Zoë got pass her insecurities. She’s excepted herself and her body. This is evident due to the mouth-watering scenes she’ll soon be seen in the movie, The Road Within.
