IFWT_Ronda Rousey

In what may have been one of the most personal fights Ronda Rousey has taken in the octagon, she wasted no time biting the head off of her opponent, Beth Correia. In just 34 seconds, Rousey left the octagon still undefeated and champion!

One thing is for sure when it comes to Ronda Rousey, there isn’t a huge list of fighters that can stand toe-to-to with her. That in of itself may cause a problem for Ronda Rousey in the future. Beth Correia was said to be good match up for Rousey, but Ronda proved that to be untrue.

This fight for Rousey was definitely on the personal side because it looks like Beth Correia made it that way. In pre-fight interviews, Correia made a statement about Rousey killing herself if she lost the fight and it has been widely known that Rousey’s father committed suicide when she was younger. Correia has since apologized for the comments she made; however, Ronda was not buying it. Alas, the 34 second fight took place last night.

Rousey, Correia Highlights…

Following the fight, Rousey spoke and a key comment that she made was, “I hope that nobody really brings up my family anymore when it comes to fights,” and I think that definitely speaks for itself. Another woman definitely does not want to be on the wrong side of Ronda when she is pissed off. But that there is the question. Who else will Ronda fight or better yet, who is a worthy opponent that she will not just walk all over?

If the UFC cannot find fighters to compete with Rousey, it is almost certain that many may lose interest and how will UFC counter that with PPV?
