Tech Talk Apple: Engineer Says Apple Has Hit Their Peak

An Apple Engineer believes from here and out Apple will see a decline.  He believes that Apple has hit it’s peak and for the next few years things will stall.   I certainly believe he’s right this always happens in tech when a device and company takes and their products are on fire.  Remember when Nextel was the hottest thing to own, that came and went. Remember when everyone had a Blackberry, you can’t give those things out for free if you wanted to. In a few years it’s going to be remember when we had iPhones. It’s just the trend in tech. Tech Talk News: Microsoft Aiming To Be Third Best???

Microsoft’s  CEO Steve Ballmer thinks the company has a strong chance of being the number 3 company in the mobile market. At this point i think they have a chance since company’s like HTC and LG are slipping in the market.  And when it comes to actucal OS iOS and Android are on top of the food chain while RIM’s Blackberry OS has faded to black. Tech Talk Mobile: The Pentagon Drops RIM Exclusively Contract Says They Will Still Support

The Pentagon will still support falling smartphone company RIM, even though last week they announced employee’s will be allowed to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). The Pentagon has supported RIM for sometime now but Pentagon said they will be looking at software that can monitor, manage and enforce security requirements for devices made by Apple and Google Inc.  Whoever comees up with a software the Pentagon likes a contract will be offered. Tech Talk News: Android Dominates Smartphone Market in 3rd Quarter

In the 3rd quarter Android grabbed an astonishing 75% of the smartphone market.  Android shipped out a record breaking 136.0 million units in one single quarter. Devices like Samsung’s Galaxy SIII and other High end android helped with Androids global domination.  For those wondering Apple shipped a modest 14.9 with it’s iPhone 5 release. Tech Talk Mobile: Sprint Brings Back Push To Talk To Android

    Remember the good old days of using your PTT (Push To Talk ) on your Nextel. After smartphones hit the mainstream everyone put away their Nextels and moved on to Blackberrys (and then we move on from those).  Well Sprint is trying to keep the Nextel spirit alive by having a PTT option on your Android device as an app.  How useful will it be who knows but just having the option is good enough.
