Boxing: Holyfield’s fight ruled no-contest after head butt in 3rd round

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl It wasn’t the fight anyone the Greenbrier Resort expected Saturday night, especially Evander Holyfield and Sherman Williams. The 48-year-old Holyfield (43-10-2) was cut in the second round when Williams’ head made contact just above Holyfield’s left eye. The four-time heavyweight champion came out for the third round, and Williams (34-11-2) staggered him with several overhand punches.

NBA: Cavs lose by 55 to Lakers!! LeBron tweets and says it’s Karma!

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl LeBron James certainly is taking to his new villain role well.  During the fourth quarter of his former team’s historically poor showing against the Lakers on Tuesday night, James apparently used his Twitter account to send a message to the struggling Cavs. “Crazy. Karma is a b****. Gets you every time. It’s not good to wish bad on anybody. God sees everything!” James wrote while in Los Angeles with the Heat for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers. The account is verified by Twitter.

Hester set the NFL record with his 14th kick return touchdown, running back a punt 64 yards for a score shortly after halftime to help the Bears fly past the Vikings 40-14 on a frosty, hard-hitting Monday night.

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl – Damn already week 13?  so sad, so sad. Let’s go Big Blue! NFL ON FOX GAMES: WASHINGTON AT N.Y. GIANTS, 1 P.M. ET WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Quarterback Donovan McNabb may play for the Redskins, but the Giants haven’t forgotten him from his Philadelphia days. McNabb is 11-7 as a starter against the Giants. Tom Coughlin still fears him. “He has a very, very strong arm,” Coughlin said. “He can pull it down and run — he’s shown the ability to do that numerous times this year.
