Car Talk: DDR launches McLaren F1-influenced Miami GT with Acura RSX or Chevy Corvette power

The guys at DDR Motorsport have put their brand-new Miami GT kits on the market. The kits all sell for right around $20 grand, and can be set up to accept the four pot from either an Acura RSX or Toyota MR2 in Sport Prototype 4 form, or the LS Series small block from the Chevrolet Corvette in Sport Prototype 8 form. The idea, DDR says, is to put a truly affordable supercar on the market. @funkmasterflex

(Video) Car Talk: Matte Pink Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4

The serious amount of flat pink used to paint this unfortunate Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 SuperVeloce with the low-digit Arabic plates may be explained by royal family colors, the way all those turquoise supercars around the Harrods department store in London carry Qatari blue, but it’s most likely just a serious thing for Hello Kitty. @funkmasterflex

Car Talk: Ferrari 458 Spider to debut new type of folding roof mechanism???

Close your eyes and picture a convertible Ferrari. Now open them. What kind of roof did it have? If you’re thinking of folding cloth, Ferrari’s made plenty of those throughout its history. But of the last three to roll out the gates of Maranello, only one of them had a soft top. And a makeshift one at that. @funkmasterflex

Car Talk: Jaguar returning to Le Mans with new LMP1

A whole lot of stars need to be aligned in order to get a good slew of manufacturers fielding factory works teams in any major racing series. But those factors seem to be coming together at the pinnacle of endurance racing. @funkmasterflex

(Video) Car Talk: Toyota offers back-seat passengers a new Window to the World

Everywhere we look we’re surrounded by “smart” technology embedded into everyday items. Refrigerators have built-in televisions and internet connections, while our phones contain more computing power than a NASA control room from the ’70s. Automakers are also ready to ride the tech-train to tomorrow, and Toyota has provided a glimpse of a new way to give passengers a window to the world. @funkmasterflex

Car Talk: Scion FR-S

The diehards at Club4AG have been patiently waiting for a new generation of sports car from Toyota. It seems one of the sites founding members got a closer look at what’s in store for the production version of the Toyota FT-86 II/Scion FR-S. User Moto-P got the chance to attend a dinner meeting with chief project engineer Tetsuya Tada, and it sounds like many a bean was spilled. @funkmasterflex
