Sneaker Summit went down this weekend in H-town, and was celebrity filled. Bun B, Nicky Diamonds, 40oz, Slim Thug and the A$AP crew are just some of the people that were in town for the 10th anniversary of the event. As a sneaker lover, I’m pretty upset I didn’t go. Fashion: Karrueche Tran Debuts Lookbook For Her Long Awaited Clothing Line “The Kill Society”
While Chris Brown may be in the mix of a “mid-mid life crisis”, his girl is getting to work on her new clothing line. Karrueche Tran has been teasing us with this idea of “The Kill” for quite some time now and it looks like it’s finally here. A couple days ago, she released sneak-peak photos of upcoming pieces and not only does she look amazing, but the clothing is flyyyyy! Featuring simplistic pieces like boy shorts and crop tops, the collection allows you to be sexy while still being comfortable. A black leather baseball jersey takes the cake for me though, I need that! No word no when and where any of the pieces will be available, but I’ll keep you posted. Fashion: Bodega Drops Line of Headwear For Winter ’13
Boston’s premiere sneaker destination, Bodega, has dropped a line of headwear for Winter 2013. It get’s pretty cold up there so hats are a must, so they have a collection of about a dozen to pick from. Beanies, snapbacks and five panels are your options, I’m feeling the five panels best. To “model” these new hats, they threw em’ on some city statues which made for a really creative and dope photoshoot. They are all available for purchase now via BDGA’s shop. Black Milk Clothing and Solestruck Shoes have teamed up for a crazy dope footwear collection. Consisting of 12 shoes in total, there is a platform sneaker, an oxford, a slip-on loafer and a eye-catchcing platform heel that seems pretty damn hard to walk in. There is 5 different all-around patterns used as well, I’m loving the purple crystals and weed print. The collection ranges in price from about $140–$185, shop it all here. Ladies tell me, how you feel about these multi colored kicks from Reebok? The Women’s Freestyle Hi Splitz comes in 4 colorways, but my choice for today was the red joints. They kind-of remind me of the Christmas season, which is right around the corner. The red, coral and white colors blend together well. Kicks: Reebok Shaq Attaq “Brick City” Puts On For Shaq’s Hometown! Check Em Out
Honoring his hometown of Newark, NJ aka “Brick City”, Shaq and Reebok are dropping a special sneaker. The “Brick City” Shaq Attaq is a gray/red/black color way atop a speckled midsole. They hit retailers on Black Friday, Nov. 29th for a price of $160. To put on for the city even more, Reebok, Shaq and Redman linked up to shoot a quick video in the city with a group of lucky kids.
