Kicks: Concepts X Asics Gel Lyte III “Three Lies”- Release Info
Wow! Concepts add to their very stacked resume with the “Three Lies’, the beautiful kicks have been the talk since the first preview released a month ago. The shoe features a grey base that is accented with small dashes of turquoise on the laces of the outsole, branding and laces. The most interesting part of the shoe for me is the speckled off-white midsole with the gold-toe at the top of the sneaker. The shoes are somehwat a resemblance of a certain “Bape Sta” that was released earlier this year. Ronnie Fieg gives us another preview of his highly anticipated “Flamingo” set to release August 2nd. He posted a picture on his instagram yesterday showing his newest collab with Asics that are set to release pretty soon. Ronnie Fieg has been very consistent with his designs. The shoe features a pink, grey and navy colorway utilizing a nubuck/mesh on the upper. The “Flamingo” is eye-catching but at the same time very vibrant and gives off a chill vibe. I came across a very interesting pic on instagram just yesterday of Tumblr famous Joo known as the creator of “Valid Like Salad”. One of the most stylish guys in New York. He was sporting a new upcoming piece of gear from Darien Bruze. The All Over Printed Mesh Shorts and jersey covered in Newport cigarettes. These were very eye-catching and the fact this summer has been built around the all-over print designs. I saw this design as very creative, stylish and swank. Kicks: Nike To Do WHAT In 2014? You Really Wanna Hear This!
Man this is NOT good news. Starting in Spring 2014 nike plans to raise the price of Air Jordan’s a whole $10. for some $10 may not seem like shit, while for big collectors it may mean a significant lose to the pocket every Saturday. An early product sheet had dropped that revealed this increase. I mean damn, I know the sneaker game is getting crazy, but I’m sure Nike don’t really need those extra $10. It seems like they saw an opportunity and took it because their product is going to sell-out regardless. I’m not with this Nike! How do YOU feel about this situation? Let me know!
