Kicks: UBIQ x New Balance 1600 Present “The Benjamin”- Release Info
Philadelphia’s premier street apparel boutique UBIQ, has announced a collaboration with New Balance. They will be releasing a limited version of the 1600 runner, called “The Benjamin”. Inspired by America’s known patriot, Benjamin Franklin. The shoe features a dominate suede upper in blue and red with brown leather accents to contrast the patriot look of the shoe. The shoe also features some cool attributes with 13 stars on the tongue and insole for the original colonies, a speckled midsole, a gum outsole, a white lining, tonal blue laces and a wooden box for storage. Two new shoes dropped exclusively at Kith NYC this weekend. The Nike Air Max 1 and Dunk Sky Hi both came out in a rare Mint Green/Caramel colorway, which makes for the perfect color combo for warm weather. I personally love both styles and the colors. The beautiful mint green paired next to the light shade of caramel allows both colors to standout individually and highlight features of the shoe. They are both available for purchase now at Kith NYC. Air Max 1 is going for $180 and th dunk is $220. Are you ladies feelin’ this shoe like I am??? Celeb Kicks: Rita Ora Spotted In LA Rockin’ Black Leather Air Max 1’s
Rita Ora was spotted in LA this week rockin’ a pair of black leather Air Max 1‘s. Rita is no stranger to the sneaker game. She use to work at a sneaker (or trainers, as Europeans call em) store in London before signing with Jay-Z and has an extensive sneaker collection that she can usually be seen in. Even while performing she is most likely in a pair of J’s or her own signature Superga shoe. The Air Max 1 she is wearing in the flicks dropped a couple months ago so good luck finding em’ if you slept on that. I’m loving these kicks! It’s pretty hard to go wrong with all black leather.
