So, our boy Kobe teamed up with NikeiD to develop a contest via Twitter for fans to customize a pair of Kobe 8 using the Los Angeles Lakers “Home” colorways. The #COUNTONKOBEID contest was personal being that Kobe himself would pick the winner and promised to wear the customized sneakers. While many entered the contest, there was only one the winner Luis Garcia from Inglewood, Calif. Kobe being a man of his word, kept his promised and wore the kicks during Sunday nights game against the Chicago Bulls.
