Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 11/16/14 … Congrats To Big K.R.I.T. On A Top 5 Debut!

It almost feels like the golden era of album sales this week on the Billboard charts, as the top 4 selling albums are all in the 6-figure range, and 3 of the 4 artists actually come from said era! And though he didn’t hit the 6-figure mark, Big K.R.I.T. had a great debut with his new album Cadillactica, moving 44k units in its first week out and nabbing the number 5 spot on the Billboard 200. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 11/2/14 … Taylor Swift Sells 1 Million In A Week!

As we approach the end of the year, NO album had gone platinum yet in 2014…and here Taylor Swift comes and does so in a week. Go ‘head, Tay Tay! The young singer’s fourth studio album 1989 has officially sold 1.287 million units in the week ending November 2, making for not only the biggest sales week this year, but the biggest sales week for ANY artist since Eminem’s The Eminem Show in 2002! Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 10/26/14 … Congrats To T.I. & Logic On Top 3 Debuts!

It was neck-in-neck all week, but T.I. inched past newcomer Logic in the last hour, and came out just above him on the Billboard 200 this week. Tip’s new Paperwork sold 80k copies for the number 2 spot, while Logic came in at number 4 with 73k copies sold of Under Pressure. It’s kind of crazy considering Logic has NO airplay and is a newbie in the game, so he definitely should be proud of such a great debut! Get the full top 10 below.


Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 10/19/14 … Congrats To The Game & Hoodie Allen On Top 10 Debuts!

Both The Game and Hoodie Allen had good debuts with their new albums, Blood Moon: Year of the Wolf and People Keep Talking, respectively. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 10/5/14 … Prince Has Both A #5 & #8 Debut!

Prince is having a pretty great week, as he has not one but two albums that debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 this week. His solo effort, Art Official Age, came in at number 5 with 51k units sold, which his collaborative project with 3rdEyeGirl, Plectrumelectrum, managed to nab the #8 spot with 26k units sold.
