Tupac’s Mom Is Suing For $1.1 Million For What?!

Tupac’s mother, Afeni Shakur (who is the co-administrator of his estate,) has filed a lawsuit against E1 (formerly Koch Records), claiming they owe her royalties from Pac’s Beginnings: The Lost Tapes, which was released in June 2007. According to the suit, E1 bought the rights to Tupac’s music from a bankrupt Death Row in July (unclear whether they mean July of this year, or of 2007) and they now owe his estate $1.1 million. She’s also asking for the master recordings of all Pac’s unreleased music. No comment yet from E1.
