Victor Cruz this week made this video of him catching a pass dropped from a plane flying above as a promotional video to help fans vote for him for the pro bowl. Cruz, who has made a lot of big plays this year for the Giants, has also dropped quite a few passes. I’ll be a happy fan if he concentrates on game passes, instead of plane passes, although this video is somewhat cool because you have to figure by the time he catches the ball, it has to be traveling well over 100mph. NBA: Jeremy Lin Admits He Has Been “Exposed”
I could of told you this was going to happen last year. I am a Knicks fan and never bought into “Linsanity”. I am actually happy the Knicks decided not to bring him back, I thought he was wayyyy to over hyped for such a small sample of games. Judging by the early success of New York this season, I am sure they are also happy Lin is gone. Fans can be so harsh!! LOL. Last week we did a story on Houston Rockets rookie Royce White, who suffers from severe anxiety disorder. His disorder is so severe he is already debating about retiring from professional basketball because he feels his team is not doing enough to help him with his disease and to try and accommodate him. He does not like to fly, which is a huge red flag for a professional athlete since games are played all over the country. I don’t really feel any pity for the dude because he has had this disorder for years, but has still continued to play ball knowing once he got to the NBA he would have to deal with a lot. (Video) College Coach May Be In Trouble For This!!
Now this is just me here, but I really do not have a problem with this. Morehead State basketball coach Sean Woods is taking a lot of heat right now for the way he confronted one of his own players after fouling out of a game. This is old school coaching to me. The majority of athletes now are so babied its sick. 30 years ago this incident wouldn’t of even been news because it was the normal.
