A week later and Kendrick [Lamar] is still trending on Twitter. The TDE rapper released To Pimp A Butterfly a little early, and fans all around the world are grabbing copies. Following his New York stop (so angry at myself for missing that), Kendrick heads over to the west coast, the place that started it all, for a signing of the album that has set a new Spotify record. “It feels good to be back in my city,” K. Kelly Rowland dropped her new album Talk A Good Game yesterday (along with a bunch of other big names!), and held an autograph signing at Best Buy in NYC to meet the fans who came to cop it. One person she didn’t expect to run into there? J. Cole! He showed up to cop his own album Born Sinner (which also dropped yesterday), and had a quick moment with Kel, then took to Twitter to share it. “Accidentally walked into kelly rowland album signing to cop Born Sinner. Earlier this week, the G.O.O.D. Music crew (sans Kanye) hit up Best Buy in Manhattan to sign copies of their debut compilation Cruel Summer for fans that purchased it. Yesterday night as the rain poured on the island of Manhattan, fans came out in droves to get the chance to meet the G.O.O.D. people of Kanye West’s label. The crew’s debut compilation album Cruel Summer hit stores yesterday and in promotion, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, CyHi The Prynce, Teyana Taylor, Pusha T and Common headed to Best Buy to greet fans and sign copies of the album.
