There was a lengthy story released detailing the collapse of Adrian Peterson’s angelic image amidst claims that he abused his four-year son, lied about allocated charity money and used the charity’s credit card to pay for a hotel orgy. Peterson took to his Twitter account to explain why there was a mixup with where the charity money went and said that he did not use the credit card to pay for the hotel orgy. In fact he said it was not an orgy but he did change his promiscuous ways.

The angelic image of Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is slowly becoming undone. Now Peterson was never a perfect human being (none of us are) but he was the face of the Vikings franchise and could seem to do no wrong as numerous other athletes faced scandal. Despite having six children with six different women in at least three different states (one of which he’s accused of severely beating), Peterson’s sexual proclivities were overlooked unlike others in the league.
