NBA: LeBron James Says He’ll Take Time Off During the Season to Rest Again If Needed

Last season in late December, LeBron James took an anti-inflammatory shot in his back to help deal with issues. He missed a little over two weeks and eight games.  He came back rejuvenated and was able to carry the brunt of the work, leading the short-handed Cavaliers all the way to the NBA Finals before losing to the Golden State Warriors.  This season he’s ready to do the same thing if he deems it necessary.


NBA: Steve Nash Writes Open Letter to Lakers Fans Explaining What Went Wrong The Past 2 Years

Steve Nash and Dwight Howard teamed up with Kobe Bryant on the Los Angeles Lakers and it was thought to be a move that would make them serious contenders again.  As you know things went terribly wrong.  Dwight and Kobe weren’t able to get along and he later decided to sign with the Houston Rockets for less money rather than return to the Lakers.  Nash dealt with a recurring back injury that kept him out for majority of last season and has ruled him out for the entire 2014-15 season.  After a video surfaced of Nash playing golf caused some controversy, he wrote an open letter to Lakers fans on his Facebook page explaining where he is physically and what has happened the past two years.
