Chief Keef has been going through issues with his label as of late. The Chicago rapper was dropped by Interscope last year, but was later scooped up by billionaire and Hologram USA owner Alki David, who signed him to his FilmOnTV imprint. Despite the tribulations they’ve faced thus far – shows getting shut down, boycotted and the like – David has stuck by him, but he recently suspended Keef’s contract, upset over an unapproved tour and a lack of communication with Keef’s management team. Now a lawsuit has officially been filed, with David going after Keef’s management for a cool $4 million. Chief Keef himself is not included in the suit, but Glo Gang manager Peeda Pan is, as well as producers Zaytoven, Metro Boomin, Sonny Digital, DJ Holiday and more. The infractions listed are Inducing breach of contract, Intentional interference with contractual relations, Civil conspiracy conversion, Accounting and injunctive relief. Yeah, I don’t know what any of that means either. Keef is still currently under contract with FilmOn Ent. We’ll keep you updated!
