(Video) Cardi B. Dominates With SXSW Performance At Fader Fort

Cardi B. hit the SXSW circuit for the first time this year, and it’s clear that the Bronx native was a breakout artist at the annual showcase! Along with a performance at a showcase put together for artists at her label, Atlantic Records, Cardi also took the stage at the Fader Fort – which is a huge deal! During her set, she performed (among other songs) “Lick,” which is her recently-released collab with her rumored boo, Offset. The crowd’s reaction was wild! Check out a clip of the performance below. Joined by YG, Mimi performed “I Don’t” in front of the LA audience, and it was a much better situation than that fateful night over 6 weeks back! I don’t know what it is about Tinashe, but I really love this girl! I’ve been rooting for her for a while now, and I hope that her latest single “Player” (featuring Chris Brown) takes off the way “2 On” did for her. Much like her peers – Ty Dolla $ign with “Paranoid”, TeeFLii with “24 Hours,” etc., the LA singer has not been able to recreate the success she saw with her breakout single, despite putting out quality work since then.
