While this clip isn’t exactly sports related, it was interesting to hear Fab’s take on the debate. Fabolous joined the desk with ESPN First Take’s Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless to discuss Macklemore. Last night Macklemore had Twitter in a frenzy. While I like Macklemore and thinks he’s a good artist, I do not believe he should have won in some of the categories he did (Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song & Best Rap Album). After receiving 7 nominations, last night Kendrick Lamar went home empty handed while Macklemore and Ryan Lewis won four awards including “Best Rap Album” for The Heist. Macklemore posted a pic, captioning: “My text to Kendrick after the show. He deserved best rap album… I’m honored and completely blown away to win anything much less 4 Grammys. But in that category, he should have won IMO. And that’s taking nothing away from The Heist. Just giving GKMC it’s proper respect.. With that being said, thank you to the fans. You’re the reason we were on that stage tonight. And to play Same Love on that platform was a career highlight. The greatest honor of all. That’s what this is about. Progress and art. Thank you. #grammys”” See what it said below…
