Sources say, although the rapper is deeply saddened by his former bodyguard’s death, he is unable to give any information because they haven’t worked together since 2012. ORIGINAL: Monday, we reported the sad news that Atlanta rapper Future’s bodyguard was gunned down in his home. According to reports, Michael Tanner Phillips was shot and killed inside of his Jonesboro, Georgia home around 1:30PM. The gunman, who fled the scene in a vehicle still remains unidentified and police are now turning to Phillips close family and friends to try and get clues on who the suspect could be. At this point authorities say that neighbors heard “some arguing and some gunshots.” Georgia police, who do not have any suspects, but do have several leads have requested to talk with Future along with other close with Phillips.
