As fun as the NBA All-Star game was this year most of us missed Kobe Bryant.  Yea it’s a game for the stars to show off and isn’t really expected to be that competitive – the absence of defense is always noted – but Kobe remained old school.  Ever known for his competitive nature and winning attitude, Kobe always played hard during the All-Star game and made it even more enjoyable to watch.  This year he was voted in but was unable to play due to a season-ending injury.  He did however take the time to write a letter to the All-Stars explaining his views on how the game should be played.
