The Portland Trailblazers have been thriving off the plays of rookie Damian Lilliard and also Nicolas Batum. Last night as the Cleveland Cavaliers took them to double overtime, Batum came up with the clutch shot to give them the 118-117 win. Batum actually hit a game-winner in the first overtime of Saturday night’s Blazers-Cavs tilt, but it didn’t beat the buzzer and was called off. NBA: Nicolas Batum Wants To Play With the Timberwolves & Hopes Blazers Don’t Match Offer Sheet
The Minnesota Timberwolves will reportedly sign restricted free agent Nicolas Batum to a four-year, $45 million offer sheet once free agency’s moratorium ends on July 11, and according to CSNNW, the swingman is hoping that the Portland Trail Blazers will be kind enough not to match the offer and let him go play in Minny.  Read more after the jump.
