(Photos) Iggy Azalea Responds To The Backlash Over Britney Collab Tweets

Earlier this week, Iggy Azalea found herself at the center of controversy AGAIN, this time for allegedly “shading” Britney Spears. What started off as merely a casual convo between Iggy and a fan who felt that Iggy‘s collab with Britney, “Pretty Girls,” had been a bit of a flop, quickly turned into headlines when people decided to twist the Australian raptress’ words. To me, it simply sounded like she’s saying she liked the song and wished they could have done more with it, but that it was up to Brit who is very busy with other things. That’s it. However, because Iggy is the media’s favorite entertainer to hate, the backlash came swiftly, and even Britney seemingly responded. Now the outspoken Iggy has a response to it all. Check it out in the gallery! Iggy is back on Twitter with a vengeance, and I’m so here for it!

SHOTS FIRED! Britney Spears Comes For Iggy Azalea’s Neck & Sons Her Real Quick!

Pop queen Britney Spears and Australian femcee Iggy Azalea have been going through the trials and tribulations ever since their highly-anticipated collab “Pretty Girls” flopped BADLY, causing a huge rift in their relationship, according to sources. However, Being that Brit is an OG in the music game, she was not going to let Iggy put the blame on her for the failed track. Spears took to her Twitter to write, “Can’t wait to get back to Vegas. So thankful I have shows for the rest of the year to look forward to… #YouWantAPieceOfMe.” Being that Iggy’s shows got canceled for the rest of the year, anything negative she says in regards to Brit is null and void. Who knew Britney had it in her? Okay! Do you think “Pretty Girls” didn’t do as well as expected because Iggy’s name is affiliated with it? Drop your comments below and let us know what you think.

Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears released their craptasically bad collab “Pretty Girls” last month, and it since has failed to live up to the hype that surrounded it before its release. Now that Iggy is more active on Twitter once again, a fan reached out to send her some words of encouragement surrounding the flop.

“even if PG flopped a little bit still getting a lot of views on YT and it’s the summer anthem of 2015, so whatever we love you”
