Ok everyday we are hearing new news about Sony and Microsoft releasing next generation consoles. First we heard they could be hitting the market in 2014 now word is they are hitting the consumer market this fall. The rumored price for for both consoles are just $350, I know gamers were ready to shell out more than $500 for next generation consoles. $350 sounds much better after all Sony did start off slow after they priced their PS 3 at almost $500 at launch time. “It will be easier to build online services around PC chip architecture, including flexible business models (free-to-play, subscriptions) and multi-media (over the top) content offerings,” the analyst added. “For Microsoft, this design will also allow for more integration with Windows 8 and Windows Mobile devices.” According to an Analyst the next generation consoles should be built from “largely built from ‘off the shelf’ high-end PC components, along with hybrid physical/digital distribution models, enhanced voice controls and motion sensing, and broad multi-media capabilities.” Yungjohnnybravo x TatWZA
