The serpent handlers of the Appalachian Mountains are known for holding religious services that involve rattlesnakes.  These  worshipers from the Church of the Lord in West Virginia have practiced this type of service for years,but they are now being criticized after one worshiper died from it.  They hold snakes above their heads and drinking their venom.  They believe they are fighting the devil with this practice.  Hit the jump to watch the video.
