(Video) NBA: Russell Westbrook Says Winning the Scoring Title Doesn’t Mean ‘Sh*t’

The Oklahoma City Thunder had a pretty rough year with all the injuries and their playoff hopes came down to the final day of the regular season.  Though they beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 138-113, the New Orleans Pelicans also beat the San Antonio Spurs 108-103.  The Thunder and Pelicans hold the same 45-37 record but the Pelicans held the tie breaker and are heading to the playoffs with the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference.  It left MVP candidate Russell Westbrook understandably pissed off.

Kevin Durant needed 70 points tonight to win the NBA scoring title (Melo is out tonight). Welp it looks like it won’t matter because KD shared some news on Instagram. 70 was a reach anyways, right?!  Some fans were pissed and others understood. Oh and in case you’re one of those fans mad, by his message – I don’t think he cares. LOL. Check out what he had to say…


NBA: Kevin Durant Says Carmelo Anthony Can Have the Scoring Title

The New York Knicks and the Oklahoma City Thunder will face off on Sunday in a game with many storylines.  The Thunder are trying to clinch the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, the Knicks are trying to clinch the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference as well as continue their now 11-game winning streak.  Another big story is the scoring race between Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant.  The two are running neck and neck, and while a fourth scoring title would make history for Durant, he has other more pressing worries.  Read more after the jump.


NBA: Lebron James Says He Could Lead the League in Scoring But “That’s Not My Job Here”

Lebron James is having another impressive start to the season.  He has scored at least 20 points in each of his first 23 games this season.
