Philadelphia’s premier street apparel boutique UBIQ, has announced a collaboration with New Balance. They will be releasing a limited version of the 1600 runner, called “The Benjamin”. Inspired by America’s known patriot, Benjamin Franklin. The shoe features a dominate suede upper in blue and red with brown leather accents to contrast the patriot look of the shoe. The shoe also features some cool attributes with 13 stars on the tongue and insole for the original colonies, a speckled midsole, a gum outsole, a white lining, tonal blue laces and a wooden box for storage. The Benjamin will release this Saturday, June 29 at UBIQ with additional NB reatilers included. Hit the jump for more detailed pics.
