Shawne Merriman was a star NFL linebacker. Then, all of a sudden, he wasn’t. Merriman literally went from pro bowl player to completely forgotten in one season. I can’t think of too many other pro athletes who fell off so bad in such a short period of time. He was great when he was with the Chargers, and still young too. He went from the highs of the NFL, to the lows by being cut, then being cut once again by the Buffalo Bills. If you get cut by the Bills, you pretty much know your washed up. Merriman however is now trying to use his athleticism for another purpose. WWE. I actually am not surprised by this news. He was always a very animated type of player who feeds off the crowd and loves to be the center of attention. Wrestling might actually be his true calling. We shall see. I wonder what his wrestling name will be? He has been trying out this week at the WWE performance center.

Who knew Hulk Hogan had so much comedic blood in him when he was wrestling. The past few years he has been doing numerous funny things. This one though might be the best, even though seeing him in a thong might ruin your eyes for the day. He is part of a website called “Hostamania”, which is competing with GoDaddy.com to host websites. MONEY is definitely the correct nickname to associate with Floyd Mayweather. All he does is collect huge paydays from his fights and now in this case, he is saving money as well. A producer named Anthony Lawrence Dash sued Floyd back in 2010 because according to Dash, Floyd used a song as his entrance music for Wrestlemania 24 back in 2008. Dash states the beat was his and Floyd never asked permission to use it. He sued Floyd and WWE for $150,000 in damages, but a Judge just recently ruled in favor of Floyd. According to the ruling, Dash wasn’t entitled to a cut of the profits from Mayweather’s use of the song because he couldn’t prove Mayweather even made money off the song in the first place (same with WWE).
