Kareem Jackson, the Houston Texans first-round draft pick last season is getting a lot of attention off the football field these days.  Jackson used his Twitter account to post pictures of his Dominican Republic vacation, including his visit to a “chicken fight.”

Cockfighting, as it is commonly referred to in the United States, is illegal in Texas, but Jackson didn’t break any laws by attending one in the Dominican Republic.

Still, those tweets, which have since been removed, have caused quite a commotion among sports fans.

“We gotta hear what you think. Is it more just a case of bad PR? I don’t know how many people are appalled by this, but we want to hear from you here on J&R Sports Radio 610,” said sports radio host Josh Innes during Tuesday’s afternoon show.
