The colorful life and times of Wu-Tang clan rap star Raekwon the Chef will be coming to book stores in the future.

Raekwon told AllHipHop.com that he was in the beginning stages of conceptualizing a book on his life and evolution as a person.

“That’s in the making soon. I just gotta deal with certain things at certain times in my life,” Raekwon told AllHipHop.com. “When it’s time to happen, yeah I got a great story and I’m going to tell the truth. It’ll be something that you can jump on a plane or get on the bus and say yo that kid evolved as a man.”

As a member of Wu-Tang Clan, Raekwon has traveled around the world since becoming a famous rapper with Wu-Tang Clan beginning in 1993, with the group’s debut release Enter The 36 Chambers.

As a member of Wu-Tang, Raekwon has had a hand in recording classics albums like Wu-Tang Forever, The W, Iron Flag and the controversial release of 8 Diagrams, which almost divided the Clan.

In addition to his latest album Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang, as a solo artist Rae has released rap classics like Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…, Immobilarity and Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… Pt. II.

Rae has also been involved in a variety of old beefs that have since been squashed, whether internal with his Wu group members, or with legendary rappers Notorious B.I.G.

For a brief period of time, Raekwon was in the final stages of signing a contract with Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment, but the deal fell through.

“I aint perfect, nobody’s perfect. we all do dumb s**tand we all get caught up in certain situations but at the end of the day I know I became a man,” Raekwon said of his journey through the Hip-Hop music business.

“I’m not no sucker ni**a running around not doing right by my children, or raising them the wrong way,” Raekwon told AllHipHop.com. “I’m in their life, I wish I could be in their more. But daddy gotta work. I got a vicious story that I’ma tell sooner or later.”
