The Foo Fighters have been around for quite some time, and they finally get their first number one album as “Wasting Light” debuts at numner 1 with 235,000 sold. Adele’s “21” took number 2 with 93,000 units. Coming in at number 3 is Alison Krauss and Union Station’s “Paper Airplane,” selling 83,000. At 4 is Paul Simon, debuting at number 4 with 68k…his highest sales week in his career. Rounding out the top 5 is another debut, with latin rockers Mana with “Drama y Luz” at 47k.

Britney had quite a slip with “Femme Fatale” falling to number 6 with 43k. Universal’s charity compilation “Songs for Japan” is staying strong in the top 10, selling an additional 37k, landing it at the number 7 spot. Wiz Khalifa’s “Rolling Papers” also holding strong with 37k at number 8, Chris Brown’s “F.A.M.E.” takes a little more than 35,000 and Mumford & Sons’ “Sigh No More” closes out the top 10 with 35k.
