Alicia and Swizz have had quite a time the past couple years since hooking up. The pair started a whirlwind romance which quickly led to a beautiful marriage and the birth of their now 7 month old son, Egypt Dean. Rumors flew from the beginning that Alicia had “stolen” Swizz from his then-wife Mashonda, and until now, Alicia has stayed mum on the subject. In a recent sit-down with Essence magazine, the new mother and wife opened up about their relationship and finally responded to the home-wrecking accusations. “Everything was in order. We didn’t start seeing each other until after they had been separated for months………..I was very aware of all the false things that were being said about me. And it definitely hurt. But I was sure that if I engaged, it would become a back-and-forth like some sort of sick entertainment, which goes against everything I believe in and only would have made things worse…………Of course, people will believe what they want to believe. But I know the truth will shine through.“
