Earlier today it was reported jailed emcee Gucci Mane was released from his 3 month bid, but apparently it was a false alarm! Although he was reportedly set to be released yesterday, and a tweet from his account seemed to announce he was out (“My Welcome Home Party 2nite at Club Onyx,” it read) , it seems he’s still behind bars. A rep from Fulton County Jail confirmed to MTV that Gucci is still in custody and added, “Mr. Davis will be with us for a while.†There is an order to send Gucci to Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison after he is released from Fulton County Jail so it appears we may not be seeing Gucci for some time, yet. Sorry, kids.
