Ok let me tell you guys about this banana pudding. Over the weekend I wanted to make banana pudding after I saw Khloe post this recipe she’d made for Lamar. Now, I’ve never made this before in my life. I’ve had it a few times and know that it’s amazing…but never actually tried making it. I read over Khloe’s recipe and it seemed so easy. (Mind you, this was her first time making it too). So I gathered everything I needed and followed her recipe exactly…but somehow I ended up with banana soup!! LOL even after I chilled the pudding for a whole day!! It still tasted pretty good though. Ha!! Read her recipe after the jump and let me know if you try it and it works for you. I don’t know where I went wrong! LOL!

“As most of you know I love to cook and bake. I’m always asking Lamar to give me new things to make so I can expand my cooking skills LOL. So he recently told me that his Grandma used to make banana pudding all the time and it is one of his favs so I wanted to give it a whirl. I had never even tasted banana pudding before so I looked up a recipe online and found this one. I of course personalized it when it came to presentation LOL. Don’t they look pretty?! The pudding came out amazing, if I may say so myself 🙂 I also can tell it came out great because it was gone in two minutes LOL.

I’ve included the recipe below so you can all try it at home. Let me know how it goes!
Ingredients

•1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND Sweetened Condensed Milk
•1 1/2 cups cold water
•1 (4-serving size) package instant vanilla pudding mix
•2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped on a high level with a hand blender until the whipping cream turns thick and fluffy. Do not over fluff
•36 vanilla wafers or to your liking
•3 medium bananas, sliced and dipped in lemon juice *You dip the sliced bananas in lemon juice so the bananas do not turn brown. The lemon juice prevents this from happening.Directions
1. In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and water. Add pudding mix; beat until well blended. Chill 5 minutes or until the pudding reaches a thick consistancy.
2. Fold in whipped cream. Spoon 1 cup pudding mixture into 2 1/2-quart glass serving bowl.
3. Top with one-third each of the vanilla wafers, bananas and remaining pudding. Repeat layering twice, ending with pudding mixture.
4. Chill thoroughly. Garnish as desired. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.”
