New York Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas will likely miss the entire season after tearing his ACL on Monday night.

Thomas limped into the locker room with 22 seconds remaining in the first half after falling over defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul as the duo was pressuring Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.

Thomas stayed down on the field for a while before being tended to by the team’s medical staff. He limped off the field with help from the medical staff. He appeared to be favoring his right knee.

The Giants are now extremely thin at cornerback. Rookie Prince Amukamara is currently out with a broken foot.

Aaron Ross will likely assume Thomas’ starting right cornerback position. Ross was playing nickelback.

Corey Webster is the Giants’ starting left corner.
