Real Madrid has signed Thunder forward Serge Ibaka to a two-month deal, according to a report out of Spain cited by Hoopshype. Ibaka will earn $100,000 euros (about US$140,000) per month, and his deal contains an out clause, meaning he will return to the NBA once the lockout has ended. Under his deal with Oklahoma City, Ibaka is slated to make about $1.3 million next season.

Ibaka joins Rudy Fernandez on Real Madrid, as the Mavericks guard signed with the Spanish club this summer.

Ibaka was born in the Republic of Congo but immigrated to Spain as his basketball career progressed, SB Nation notes. He became a Spanish citizen this summer so he could play for the country in EuroBasket.

Last season, his second with the Thunder, the power forward averaged 9.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks.
