Chris Johnson probably isn’t in the best position to make such a claim but I guess you have to respect his confidence.  The Titans running back made a big prediction saying he would lead the league in rushing this year.  Read more after the jump.

The highly criticized running back tweeted this yesterday:

You would think he would learn after failing the past two years in a row of living up to his claims and having a career low in yards, yards per carry and touchdowns during the past season.  His numbers have been on the decline and are more criticized after his widely publicized holdout which led to a big payday.

There’s no doubt that Johnson has the ability to achieve the feat but it doesn’t mean it’ll happen.  Besides his own lackluster performances, the Titans finished 31st in rushing last year and don’t exactly provide an offense conducive to Johnson’s goal (terrible run-blocking).
