Another day, another tragedy I have to report on. Last night, a “Halloween massacre” of sorts occurred at the University of Southern California, with 4 people shot by a man after he’d gotten into an argument with someone else. The man he was arguing with was the target of his shooting, but three other bystanders were also caught in the crossfire. Two men were arrested, however, as Asst. Chief John Thomas of the USC Department of Public Safety believes another man was the shooter’s accomplice. Thomas believes this was “totally an isolated incident” and will proceed with classes as scheduled today. The main victim is currently listed in critical condition, while the three others suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Our prayers are with the USC campus and community!
