It’s been ten years (in exactly one week it will be to the day), but T-Boz and Chilli are ready to venture back into the musical world for their first time without Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. Though 2002’s 3D was released months after Lisa’s untimely passing, it still included her vocals as they’d been working on it before her death. Looks like the girls are really ready to work, too, as they are also working on a special on their lives on VH1. I’m sure it’s not going to be easy doing it without their groupmate! T-Boz on the album:
“We’re going to still sound like TLC, evolving to whatever level we need to be at this time. We’ve always grown throughout the years and have always had our own sound. That’s what works for us and we don’t have to worry about anybody else.When that stops working, maybe we’ll hang up the towel, but that still works. We have to get into the studio and start feeling how we feel. You have to find yourself first and then you find the path and then you have an album before you know it.”
