Christopher Angelo, a 38-year-old man from Lavallette, New Jersey, was arrested for doing something patriotic. The man climbed the infamous Seaside Heights roller coaster that was placed in the ocean in the wrath Hurricane Sandy to place an American flag on it. Angelo, who paddled his own canoe to the coaster before climbing it, is set to be a bit of a “daredevil” by his grandmother. I applaud the man’s efforts since the Jet Star Roller Coaster has become one of the iconic images of the post Hurricane Sandy damage and in my opinion, the flag is significant for a sign of hope to come for those who really need it. See a photos of the man on-top of the Jet Star below.
